Alon Sariel wins an Opus Klassik

Last Sunday the first award ceremony of the Opus-Klassik took place in the Konzerthaus in Berlin. The follow-up price of the Echo classical one and already appointed "the most important price for classical music" by Thomas Gottschalk. In addition to Thomas Gottschalk as presenter, classical stars such as soprano Diana Damrau, tenor Juan Diego Flórez and violinist Lisa Batiashvili performed in the festive hall of the Konzerthaus.
The Israeli Alon Sariel received for "Telemandolin", an album in honour of the 250th anniversary of Telemann's death, directly an Opus in the category "Concert recording of the year (music up to and including the 18th century) / mandolin".
