“Carneval” is calling! Asya Fateyevas new album
Two years after her first album at Berlin Classics, Asya Fateyeva now presents a new recording: "Carneval"! After Bach and Villa-Lobos' the 28-year-old is now dedicated to the repertoire of Sergei Prokofiev, Jules Massenet and Léo Delibes. She is assisted by the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn under Ruben Gazarian.
"The title 'Carneval' describes the spirit of the saxophone, and likes to dress up, try it out, explore different styles and play the roles of other instruments."
The focus of the recording are the great dramas, characters and human entanglements that come to light during the fifth season: "Opera Fantasy", "Romeo and Juliet", "Veridana" just to name a few works that complete the program.
Announced for February 22, 2019, the saxophone player provides the perfect musical foundation for the Carnival season, which begins on February 28th!
