New Single: Claire Huangci performs the famous Bach D minor Toccata on piano
Along with Ludwig van Beethoven's 5th Symphony, the first bars of Bach's D minor Toccata BWV 565 are among the most famous in music history. The Italian composer Ferruccio Busoni arranged the powerful baroque sound of the organ on the keyboard and let the piece dissolve in a romantic manner. Pianist Claire Huangci dedicated herself to this transcription in her latest single release, which can be seen as a captivating prelude to her forthcoming album. The toccatas, which can be heard there, reveal her musical diversity, which makes Huangci stand out as a pianist.
'Bach: Toccata in D Minor' (Arr. Busoni)' is available digitally on all music platforms.
