2010 marks the bicentenary of the births of Frédéric Chopin and Robert Schumann. Both composers wrote epoch-making piano works, their études in particular introducing new techniques and musical approaches. To mark the anniversary, Ragna Schirmer's recordings of these two great cycles of études are now being released on a single CD for the first time!
