“Violin Concerto, Op. 47: III. Allegro, ma non tanto” – Emmanuel Tjeknavorian gives a first preview of his new album!
With the first single "Violin Concerto, Op. 47: III Allegro, ma non tanto" the young Viennese violinist Emmanuel Tjeknavorian shows directly what he is capable of. The third movement of his Signature Piece, the Violin Concerto by Jean Sibelius, requires both technical skill and a strong expression. The fact that the Viennese, who is only 24 years old, has mastered these two skills is demonstrated on his new album "Tjeknavorian & Sibelius: Violin Concertos".
Playing the Sibelius Violin Concerto, he made his debut with the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin, the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. His next engagements with the Sibelius concerto are in 2020: in London with the Philharmonia Orchestra and at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. In addition to his success on the concert stage, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian has been making waves in other areas for some years now: on his own radio show “Klassik Tjek” with Radio Klassik in Vienna he talks to his guests about topics that go beyond classical music.
The album "Tjeknavorian & Sibelius: Violin Concertos" on which Emmanuel Tjeknavorian has additionally recorded the violin concerto of his father Loris Tjeknavorian will be available from February 21, 2020. You can get a first preview with "Violin Concerto, Op. 47: III. Allegro, ma non tanto" now for download and in stream!
