With the release of “II. Adagio (Concerto in D Minor)” oboist Céline Moinet fulfills herself a childhood dream

From an early age on, Céline Moinet heard the oboe concerto in D minor by italian composer Alessandro Marcello, whose famous second movement had been arranged and decorated for harpsichord by Bach. "I associate it with strong childhood memories" the musician explains.

Céline Moinet has dreamed of playing this work since her childhood. Together with the prize-winning ensemble l'arte del mondo (Werner Ehrhardt), she has now fulfilled this dream and created a unique recording, which will be released as a complete album on 13.09.2019 by Berlin Classics.

Until the release of the album "Bach Oboe Concertos" one can already tune in with the two pre-releases "I. (Allegro) (BWV 1055)" and "II. Adagio (Concerto in D Minor)".
